Introducing our Wedding Collection

Over the last couple of months we have been working on a few extra special one off boxes. These are the perfect way to add to your beauty treat collection without breaking the bank, or to celebrate a special occasion.

We are excited to be partnering with Wooing Tree Vineyard, another local Cromwell business, and while their beautiful wines are not included in these wedding one off boxes, Wooing Tree will be featuring some special offers in our upcoming main subscription boxes. This partnership is one that we are SO excited about, not just because we love the wine, and the brand, but because theirs is a story of a hardworking, small family business, who have worked tirelessly to get their product to the level of international recognition they now receive, and they are still the most down to earth lovely team ever.

One day over a delicious platter and a few wines at the stunning Wooing Tree cellar door we were discussing the upcoming wedding season. Julia is a makeup artist in her spare time, and with lots of bookings going ahead for this summer, including a few Wooing Tree weddings, we were chatting about the many benefits of our MyTreat box products for a bride to be... then Chloe mentioned she is starting to plan her wedding and wanted to announce to her bridesmaids in a fun way that she chooses them to stand beside her. So we had a few more wines, and then we really got planning. This is how our wedding collection was born.

The Bridesmaid Box is huge, it is loaded with over $200 of value for each of your girls. You can select a box for 3, 4 or 5 bridesmaids (or add in Mum too)... and if you have 6, 7 or more besties, just order 2! The Bride box is especially created with skincare to leave teeth whiter, smiles brighter, nails longer and stronger and your skin looking its best thanks to the power of mircordermabrasion.

Why do you need to prepare your skin for your big day?

Make up artists can only do so much, and while we know you will be trying to follow the water drinkng rule, early bed times, less stress (yeah like that is even possible) and all those healthy living tips so your skin is looking its best, the only way to ensure your skin 'turns over' more regularly is through the use of a resurfacing cream. Whether you suffer from dull, dry, ageing, or an uneven skin tone, Microdermabrasion is the mega powerhouse of resurfacing and will get your face & body wedding ready in no time.

Traditionally, microdermabrasion is performed in a dermatology clinic, or at a beauty salon, with something that resembles a miniature version of the hubbys sandblaster - however, we have found a great at home cream system that is super easy and just as effective. Microdermabrasion, although it comes under the umbrella of exfoliation, is far more superior than your usual facial scrub. It is an ingredient specific product, a combination of crystals and minerals to not only remove a tonne of dead, dull, uneven skin, but polish that beautiful new skin underneath. The Arture Microdermabrasion resurfacing cream retails for $124.95 and is a cruelty free, NZ made product you will love. It is ideal for the preparation needed leading up to your wedding, both for yourself, and as a beautiful treat for your bridesmaids.

This level of exfoliation is a MUST, and for best results you should use it regularly. Some common long term benefits are brighter, more even complexion, reduced pore size, smoother, baby soft skin (although we certainly dont recommend using it on the babies), the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles and lighter appearance of scars, acne scarring and stretch marks

So if you have a special occasion coming up, or just want a healthier complexion, Microdermabrasion is definitely a MyTreat favourite, we have included it in all of our bride and bridesmaid boxes in our one-off shop, check it out.
