I’ve been searching for an exfoliate that gives my skin a healthy glow.... I’ve found this amazing Kiri kiwifruit and rosehip exfoliant that I had no idea was going to be so good.
I had 3 main criteria, key ingredients from the earth, New Zealand made, and gel based. Gels are fruit enzymes that act as a natural exfoliate in the product as opposed to chemical nasties. Gels are also better for removing dead skin cells and revealing your freshest face possible. I wouldn’t say its ‘gentle’ but it definitely works and my skin feels amazing immediately after using it. It is not a daily exfoliant, this is one of those treat products that you can incorporate into your routine once a week or so. I stumbled on Kiri when researching Manuka Honey and natural New Zealand brands and was interested to find out about the patents involved with using Manuka Honey in skincare products. Which is why their munuka products are usually expensive I guess!
Kiri have a couple of lines, and the Kiwifruit Face Wash Exfoliate is perfect for October. Once the sun starts coming out, it dries our skin and it makes it harder to protect, acting as a barrier between the activating ingredients in the moisturising products we use. The Kiwifruit exfoliant works to get into your pores and thanks to the antioxidants will clean your face and remove dead skin cells. And the smell is something else! I love this job because we get to test so many amazing products but I always get extra excited when I can smell a delivery before even opening it! It is super fresh and summery smelling, sweet like kiwifruit with hints of rosehip oil, and at 100ml it’s the perfect size to pop in your bathroom drawer for use each week in the lead up to summer!
